Swimming pools, bbq and sunshine in Orange, CA

Why would I want a swimming pool?

With summertime just around the corner, many of our neighbors are getting their swimming pools ready for the coming heat and long days of summer.  A swimming pool is synonymous with Southern California just like surfing and our ever famous Orange County beaches.   Pools can range in size from small and quiet to large and extravagant.  What kid did not love playing in the water on a hot day even if it was just a hose with a sprinkler. For that matter, what adult ever said no to a quick dip in the cool waters of a pool?

The family with the swimming pool became the meeting place every day for every kid in the neighborhood during those summer days.  It was also the spot for many a barbecue with friends and family during the long Summer evenings.  Pruned fingers and toes, chlorine green hair and blood shot eyes were the norm.  The best part about the pool was, we didn't have to take a bath every day and for a young kid, that means a lot.

To have a pool means all of your child's friends would be at your house and under your own watchful eye almost every day of the summer.  What better way to supervise and insure the safety of just not your own child, but of others as well. Awe inspiring pool homes of Villa Park

Of course, a backyard is not just a pool, but a place for bbq's with friends, an outdoor room you might say made especially for summer.  It is an outdoor recreational facility, a place to relax after a long day at work, where you layout to improve that tan and much more.  Not sure about a pool?  Just find your floating mat and take a nap while gently rocking to the sounds of summer with a cold beverage by your side.

Is the water a bit too cold?  Heating a pool is no longer a major expense either.  Toss out the old gas fired pool heater and replace it with solar panels.
With pool solar panels it is possible to extend your swimming season by as much as three months and have water temperatures up to the 80's and all by the power of the sun.  Installation is easy and can be done by the homeowner or I might suggest by a licensed professional.

To top off that outdoor living space, consider a patio cover or maybe a complete outdoor kitchen with a television, BBQ, refrigerator and fireplace.  Don't forget to include the sound system to pump out the best sounds of the season.  There are many styles to choose from including hard wired or Bluetooth speakers that look like rocks.  The Beach Boys always sound better when you are in the water.
The sky is the limit to outdoor living spaces these days and  only limited by your own imagination.  With so many electronics in our lives, would it not be better to spend time with your family outdoors this summer?

So when you are looking for your next home, consider a pool home.  It can create an outdoor recreational and dining area for your family, friends and neighbors and add value to your home.
